Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young learners and creating a positive and engaging learning environment. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning. We are a small private christian school with an average class size of 12 and have a great supporting staff!

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

- Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment

- Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience

- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment

- Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance instruction

- Foster social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques

Experience:

- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred

- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices

- Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
